Colson Kelly or Machine Gun Kelly is best recognized for his unique way he raps. Baker was born to his English Scottish German family in Houston Texas U.S.A. On April 22, 1991. His parents were missionaries and during his initial years he traveled a lot along with them. His dad James Colson Baker struggled with depression and unemployment while his mother Sonia Alane left them when he was nine. Baker's dad moved together with Baker to Denver and the family lived at the aunt of his father. Baker was bullied by other kids in the neighborhood due to of his poor living conditions. Baker began to listen to rap when he was in the sixth class. Colson Baker, better known by the name Machine Gun Kelly, was born in Texas on the 22nd of April 1990. His music is a blend of contemporary hip-hop, alternative and rock. Baker, who signed with Bad Boy Records in 2010 He released four mixtapes from 2007 and 2010. With lyrics that are as fast that of a train. This Cleveland rapper saw a meteoric increase in the latter half of 2011 as he transitioned from grinding out self-released mixtapes and then signing with reputed label. Over the next few years, every album he released charted at number 10.
